Psychic Source favorite Maxine (x7791) is happy to share this article she wrote all about the Chinese Zodiac. If you are not aware, the Chinese New Year is upon as and The Year Of The Rat begins on February 7th 2008.
“Lord Buddha lay dying, summoning all the animals of the forest to say good-bye the twelve that came first to reach his bedside where honored by selection for this immortality in the order of their arrival.”
This year is the beginning of a new Twelve year cycle. What is interesting as well is that on a Universal numerical note we are also in a One cycle – new beginnings once again. So how will you do in this year of fresh starts and new beginnings? Here is a glimmer about what the energy will be like for each of this fascinating animal kingdom. The animal that you are lives in your heart.
(If you are unsure what animal represents you, consult the wheel below. If you are born in the first few weeks of the year click here and follow the chart based on the date of your birth).

RAT – For the past twelve years the power stored up had finally run out making the arrival of this year very much welcomed. It is a time to store up energy for the next twelve years. This year you are empowered on all levels allowing you to work hard and play harder. Have fun and keep in mind you will gain – this could be weight or money or both so be mindful of your good fortune.
OX – Needing a break, well my dear Ox this is not the year for vacations. You will find that the energy to work harder will be overwhelming and you might even find yourself getting into great shape. There will be more options than usual helping you to lay a foundation for the next year which will be yours.
TIGER – Your nerves could get the better of you with everyone running you in circles. Your thinking power will be enhanced as well as having many many opportunities on your plate. It is a time to choose wisely. The pace of the year is right up your alley but even you my rebellious tiger will get tired. Sleep well, do not forget to recharge.
RABBIT – Loving this year maybe even more than your own is the feeling you have. Social activates seem to explode and you need to go by more clothes to keep up with the many invitations you will be receiving. The Holidays will be the best ever, you will dance more this year than you have in your lifetime. If you are having a hard time focusing take a nap and focus will be there when you wake up.
DRAGON – Dragons love Rats – finding yourself in all your glory being happy, making decisions with ease, making money is like taking candy from a baby. Watch out for a feeling of hunger the urge to want more and more and more… too much of a good thing can be bad. Do not allow your ego to get the best of you. People look up to you and admire you so there is no need to boast. Put some of the money you earn away. Love is going to be a highlight.
SNAKE – Well this year you will not want for anything. It is important to keep organized and please get rid of the old skins that pile up no need to keep things that have no use. There will be plenty of new ideas giving your career a boost. Keep your emotions tied together with a pretty ribbon in a bow or you will find your love life tied up in knots.
HORSE – Balance is your mantra for this year as your speed out the gate taking the lead. You will be a front runner all year long so although you might not come in first you ran the race well and will be acknowledged for your efforts. It is hard to walk the middle line as you like to run freely without boundaries so give yourself time to play in order to keep centered.
SHEEP (RAM) – A year of great joy especially with friends and loved one. There will be challenges that you will find adventurous and stimulating. Having had a pleasant last year you are rested and ready to go. Buying books and reading them will be a big part of this years activities, this is where you meet new people and form new relationships.
MONKEY – Another one that loves the Rat. Let’s play is your mantra singing it loud and often will make this a year filled with engagements where conversations are inspiring. Playing, watching and talking about sports is another highlight for you. Placing a bet on a horse could prove to be outstanding. What ever you do, do it with sincerity.
ROOSTER – Finding yourself with time on your hands is not a bad thing. You are able to concentrate on even the smallest details with ease. It is like you have been fine tuned. Use the energy wisely, when offered take graciously. Although it will be busy around you within you will find peace. When giving give with a full heart. Feel your wholeness, keep yourself whole do not let others pick you apart. This is a year that builds character.
DOG – Taking command being the leader yes it is your turn. There will be many to gather around you as you work your magic with your charm and good looks. At times the work load will be overwhelming making you bring your best to the table. Great success is in reach, the desire to play will be distracting yet in its own way will be as rewarding. Hold your voice still; think before you open your mouth.
PIG (BOAR) – Love is in the air! A time to relax kick back and rest on your good fortune from last year. There will vacations that will be highlighted by romance on a level never before achieved. This is a year of awakenings. Doing more of what you love brings much pleasure allowing you to share more of yourself with those you love. You spend time watching those around you and derive much pleasure from this.
I hope you all enjoy a wonderful Chinese New Year!
