Psychic TV Talk - Eli Stone
Welcome to the first in an ongoing new series of posts written by our psychic experts exploring a variety of exciting television shows and movies dealing with psychics, spirits, mediumship, and other related topics. To get things started, Psychic Source favorite Maxine x7791 shares her first look at the show Eli Stone, which currently airs Thursday nights at 10:00PM Eastern on ABC. Eli Stone is a new show set in the great city of San Francisco, California. The show focuses on a lawyer, but not just any lawyer. Eli is brilliant and his cases have always booked many hours of big billing time. He discovered he has a brain aneurysm that causes visions directing him to take cases that are more about morality than money raising eyebrows with the owners of the law firm he works at.
These visions seem real to Eli and he acts as if the events in his visions are really happening. The first time this happened Eli walked into his living room and pop superstar George Michael was standing on his coffee table singing. The ability to see into the future and having others believe you has not been easy for Eli.
After an exam by his doctor, who is also his brother, found that the visions are caused by the aneurysm and that having surgery could possibly kill him. These visionary episodes put Eli in a quandary at work as everyone thought his was losing his mind. The visions come sporadically causing him to act out whatever is necessary to protect himself or engage in the vision so he can better use the knowledge gained from the experience. Finally the truth was told to the people most important in his life including his boss, the boss’s daughter who Eli was engaged to, and his close friends at work.
These visions also revealed that Eli’s father had the same brain aneurysm but sadly used alcohol to cover them up. Eli has the good fortune of having an Asian Medicine Man to ease his anxiety with acupuncture and friendship.
In a very moving episode that aired on April 10th, Eli fought for men in prison who were being abused. The vision that brought this case about was of a man standing in front of a very large crowd of people with signs saying “live brave”. He was able to free this man who was wrongly accused of murder and have the warden of the prison put away. His vision in the end was the same big gathering celebrating Eli who by freeing this wrongly accused man brought about the movement called “live brave”.
