Psychic TV Talk - Medium - Season Wrap-Up

As the 2007-2008 TV season wraps up this month, Maxine x7791 -  wanted to take a final look at the recent season of the hit NBC show “Medium.”  Take it away Maxine…

 

Medium has a very fine thread running through it to connect the story lines each week.  The best part about this series is you can tune in any time and know what the core of the show is with each episode able to stand on its own. The stars shine bright from the  DuBois family to all the guest stars each week. 

One of my favorite episodes this season was when the mediums faced off with each other. I am hoping that Agent Cooper comes back haunting Allison with ingenious spiritual hoop-la. The battle of the Medium Gods… life meets death working together in a whole other dimension... does it get any better than that?

The season finale opened with Joe dreaming of the options he has in his efforts to get rid of the pretty partner who came on a tad too heavy in the previous episodes. My favorite scene was when Joe went “Bonny & Clyde” on her. Great direction, funny and a tad twisted being Joe is usually the mild mannered one in the family.

All in all, this was a great season of Medium. Now that the family has a quarter of a million dollars in the bank with Joe heading up his own company and Allison back at work for the District Attorney, one can only know the upcoming fall season will be one that I will be waiting for with excitement.

In the mean time, I recommend that later this summer you check out the new season of “Saving Grace” with Holly Hunter, by far one of the most thought provoking spiritual shows of the summer. Saving Grace returns on the TNT network in July.

Hi Maxine,

I love the show Medium, it's so real. Alison is never running around in high heals with tons of make-up...she is like every other working Mom only with "abilities". :-)

We watch it every week and I love your Blog entry and observations. (my husband says that poor Joe is unfortunately sleep deprived-- because Alison wakes him up after her dreams)

Last Monday, A&E premiered a weekly show called Psychic Kids. It comes on at 10pm.  Wondering if anyone else caught it and if you have any thoughts about the show.
