Presidential Nominee Natal Charts Part 1 - Senator Hillary Clinton

You practically can't turn on the TV or pick up a newspaper without discovering something new about the candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election. At this point, you probably think you know all there is to know already about Senators Clinton, McCain, and Obama. But what you might now know is what the natal charts have to say about our soon to be decided future President. Psychic Source asked resident astrologer Emrys to delve into this further, and we are honored to present this three part series of Presidential Nominee Natal Charts.

Thanks to the untiring efforts of the omnipresent media to educate the public, we have all had the opportunity to witness the various public faces of the three most prominent contenders for the 2008 Presidential nominations.  We’ve seen the very best, and the very worst, of their public personas.

Astrologers are able to see beyond the surface and into a person’s private, hidden core, by studying the complex mathematical relationships between planets and points in an individual’s birth, or natal, chart.

What, then, do the individual charts reveal about the Senators who would be President?

Ladies first…

Hillary Rodham Clinton

 Oct 26 1947, 8:02 am, CST +6:00

 Chicago Illinois, 41°N51', 087°W39'

A Scorpio native with her ascendant (how we approach the world/our public face), Venus (how we give and receive love), and Mercury (how we think and communicate) resident in the same sign, Hillary Rodham Clinton is no stranger to power.

Possessed of a powerful dynamism and a passionate, determined intensity, Senator Clinton, by virtue of the 12th house placement of these planets, is gifted with an intuitive ability to tap into the collective unconscious. This can somewhat dissolve her own ego, allowing her to identify more with the needs of the public, rather than just her own personal concerns.

This theme is repeated by the placement of her natal Moon in Pisces, resident in her 4th house. This placement of the Moon signifies a passionate devotion to and concern for home and family.  When coupled with the positive aspect to her powerful 12th house planet and the positive aspect to her first house, Jupiter (the planet of growth and expansion), that concern extends to the larger “home” of the United States and the “extended family” of the American people.

Senator Clinton’s chart denotes a hardworking person who possesses an orderly mind and the ability to pay exacting attention to details, as well as the willingness and ability to see a task or project through to culmination. Disliking superficiality, she feels and speaks passionately about subjects she perceives as being vital to the well-being of her "family." While doing so, she’s still able to retain the ability to balance thought and emotion, basing her decisions on a balance of both.

Senator Clinton should guard against stubbornness and resistance to change as well as an unconscious tendency toward manipulation. While this is not always a negative trait, she must take care to insure that her motives remain pure and for the greater good. With such a heavy concentration in Scorpio, Senator Clinton should also try to express with more diplomacy the concerns her quick mind and intuitive nature grasp about issues.

CHART SIGNATURE: Intense; intuitive; dynamic; strong; self-possessed; cares deeply about people and ideals; personal power to effect positive change; inspires others.

So our gal Clinton is a Scorpio – deep! On the eastern astrology front she is born in the year of the Boar. This gives her an incredibly honest forthright energy which being in politics could actually hurt her in that politicians are not always honest.  Being she is a Scorpio however gives her the ability to think to the depth of issues. She is already and has been in the political arena for many years and has great experience in keeping quiet and standing by her man as she holds the family together. We can only pray that if she wins or runs on the ticket as a VP her honest nature brings about world peace as she certainly kept peace in her house during the hardest of times.

Given reports this morning about Bill's "alleged" infidelity post his heart attack, Hillary may need to further test her peace-keeping skills!

hi emrys,

do yo think according to her chart that she will run for VP?  im not sure she is going to want to take a back seat in the white house.  according to an on line vote people think she should not run for VP i tend to feel that way too.

what do the starts say for her?

thanks,

Hi Maxine,

Given the leadership abilities evident in her chart, I would say that Senator Clinton would do far better to launch a massive write in campaign for the November ballot, rather than take a back seat.

She has the ability to shine in her own right and should continue to focus on promoting herself for the Executive Office, which would be a positive manifestation of her ability to manipulate situations.

Thanks for adding the info on Chinese astrology.
