Mediums have the ability to connect with those who have passed over to the other side. 
Not all Mediums connect with spirits in the same manner. My approach to connecting with those on the other side is slightly different than what you may have seen on TV Shows such as "Medium" or "Ghost Whisperer".
Here are tips to help you get a great reading from a Medium.
· Allow a few moments for the Medium to create a connection with you. Personally, I align my energy to yours through the chakras. Chakras are metaphysical energy centers located in the body. As the customer, all you need to do is relax. I find it best that you be open to the exchange of energy.
· Some Mediums may ask for specific information about the Spirit – names or dates, etc. Every Medium is unique, so keep that in mind when choosing your Psychic Medium.
· When I am connecting, I ask the Spirit for 3 pieces of information: the month they passed in, the way that they passed and for a name. This allows me to confirm that I am connecting with a Spirit who has relevance to my customer.
When you’re dealing with the Spirits, it can be a bit tricky. We all don’t communicate in the same manner – living or in the spirit world! I utilize numerous senses to receive information from those who have passed on. 
I envision information, such as the month they passed in, in my mind’s eye. When it comes to how they passed, some Mediums may have physical sensations. Personally, I may feel a headache coming on if the Spirit passed away as a result of a stroke or head injury. It will last for just a few moments, but it is enough for me to pick up on how he/she passed away.
Some Mediums may have Clairaudient experiences and hear information and names. When someone has passed in a car accident, I actually hear the song "James Dean" by the Eagles. The ways in which Spirit tries to connect with Mediums is limitless! When you open the door to Spirit, they all try to come in at once.
When a Medium is connected with a Spirit, information can come very quickly. 
I receive little flashes of insight in my mind’s eye, or hear words or songs. Some information may be fragmented as it may often come in bits and pieces. It is important to write down the details the Medium is interpreting to you during the reading. This will ensure you are getting as much information as possible.
